Growing up I always found helping other people satisfying, I like to make people feel better when they are sick. I have always dreamed of working in the medical field, I am still debating on what I want to do as a career either Pharmacy or Nursing. I have done some research and right now what catches my interest is Pharmacy.
Some work done in Pharmacy is to prescribe a medication to a patient depending on any symptoms they might have. Also, a Pharmacist monitors the health of their patients and answers any questions a patient has. Some pharmacist specialize in some fields like cancer (oncology), chemotherapy (nuclear), and psychiatric (treat patients with a mental disorder).
Issues that might revolve around this field are medicines because sometimes some medicines instead of helping a patient they might worsen their condition or give a patient side effects. Pharmacist work in retail drugstores, hospitals, or for the federal government.
